Stop the search … this Californian man just won Father of the Year honors after building his own Disneyland roller coaster just to entertain his family during his forties.
Sean LaRochelle from Napa spent about 4 months building a scaled-down version of the famous Matterhorn Ride. It’s a two-story, single-passenger roller coaster … and you can tell Sean went out of his way to get every detail of the alpine themed ride.
Watch the videos … its 400 foot track features Swiss flags, waterfalls and even the ticked yeti inside the mountain !!! The aerial shots of his mini Matterhorn are also quite impressive – we think Sean has to go to Hollywood.
Sean’s child can thank the coronavirus for its steroid playground. Disneyland closed mid-March due to the pandemic, and 2 weeks later Sean started building the ride. He finished in July.
You might have guessed it, but Sean is working on an architecture degree and says he’s had the help of about 30 friends and family members at social distance. It doesn’t hurt to come from a family of architects.
BTW, her child is only 6 months old. Sorry kid, you just aren’t big enough for this ride yet.
