Hello again – it’s time to update my update.
I last came to see you regarding the 2021 NBA Draft three weeks ago, when the combine was going down and we were still figuring out what marginal prospects were going to stay in the draft. Now that the NCAA player withdrawal deadline has passed and the scouts (and I) have seen most of these players play on the combine field, we can dig deeper into the analysis.
I posted my top 23 players for the draft three weeks ago, and that list stays below. I have now added 47 more players to bring the roster to 70 – covering the players most likely to be selected (there will be 59 picks on draft day, which is July 29).
From my perspective, this draft is a bit different in terms of depth.
