Police arrested a California man after discovering that two of his children had been beheaded at his home, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Howard Kern, a client attorney for Taylor for about seven years, told the outlet he called the fire department after he and others attempted to contact the sheriff’s department to voice concerns.
Kern said he told firefighters he was concerned about “a possible gas leak”. He added that Taylor, whose bail was set at $ 2 million, was one of the nicest people he knew.
“Think about the nicest person you know, then multiply that person by five,” Kern told The Times. “He worked so hard to support himself. Unfortunately, we don’t know enough to say what happened or what didn’t.”
