We have all been told to prepare for the "big challenge", but scientists say that there is a different natural disaster for which we may not be ready.

According to the geological survey of the United States, a mild to moderate volcanic eruption is likely to occur in California in the next 30 years. Just to compare, scientists say that there is a 22% chance of "the big" along the San Andreas Fault during the same period.

California has eight volcanic areas, putting 200,000 people at risk of eruption.
