California mother and aunt arrested for missing murder of six-year-old child, authorities say

California authorities announced Saturday that the mother and aunt of a 6-year-old "criticized" child had been arrested for killing the boy.

Following an interview with Contreras on Saturday, she was convicted of murder and held without bail, officials said. The same day, Jennifer Contreras, the boy's aunt, was also arrested and sentenced for murder, according to the sheriff's department. She is also detained without bail.
