California students will need to take ethnic studies to graduate

Racial theory was deemed essential for California high school students. Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill on Friday that will require ethnic studies to be taught to all Golden State high school students for years to come. The law obliges students to take a one-semester course on “our common history” which is “engraved with dismal injustice” from the school year 2029-2030, and schools must offer an elective course on the subject from school 2025-2026. year. The governor said in a statement: “Students deserve to see themselves in their studies, and they must understand the full history of our nation if we are to expect them to ever build a more just society.”
