What is Combat Pacing and how it works

Combat Pacing is a brand new feature in the Call of Duty series that allows players to select the intensity of their in-game matches. When active, it should be noted that the number of players will vary depending on the size of the player. map, as increasing or decreasing the number of players per map will help determine the level of intensity described in the three combat pace options available below.

  • Tactical: This will sound very familiar to Call of Duty veterans, as players will experience what they are used to with classic Call of Duty combat timing. This option will always be set to 6v6.
  • Aggression: More of a balanced experience, Assault offers enough room to breathe and plenty of targets to kill. Player counters range from 20 to 28 players.
  • Collect: Ridden to frenzied levels, these high-action lobbies will feel intense and offer plenty of fast-paced madness. The number of players can be expected to vary between 28 and 48 players.
