The next time you come back to camp at Monster Hunter Rise, why not take the time to play Tetris 99 on Nintendo’s Switch Online service.
This weekend, the battle royale block battler will host a special Monster Hunter themed event. It starts on October 8 and will take place on October 11. If you decide to participate and earn 100 event points, you will have the opportunity to unlock a unique theme.
It should be noted that this appears to be the first theme based on a third-party version. While Monster Hunter Rise was originally classified as a Switch exclusive, more recently this has been confirmed for the PC.
This announcement follows recent Nintendo Direct news from Capcom – revealing that Monster Hunter Rise will receive a massive paid expansion. This is the “Sunbreak DLC” and it will arrive in the summer of 2022.
