Camaro driver tries to get Tesla running: watch what happens next

A Twitter account called Hold my beer shared a short but interesting video a few days ago. It shows a Camaro driver stopping next to a Tesla. It looks like the Camaro driver is trying to get the Tesla driver to run, albeit on a busy public road. Bad idea? Yes, for all the obvious reasons, and the video proves it without a doubt.

Hopefully the Camaro owner has learned his lesson, but we’d be surprised to learn that he hasn’t attempted such stupid actions in the past, and even more surprised is he that he hasn’t. intend to do so in the future. Maybe the Tesla owner can share a video with the police to make sure the Camaro driver gets what he deserves.

Either way, while the video is short and it’s not easy to understand what’s being said, it looks like the Camaro driver is harassing the Tesla driver. Looks like the Tesla driver says his car is, in fact, a Tesla, but he’s not interested in racing. According to our friends from Teslarati, Tesla owner asks Camaro driver to leave him alone.

The driver of the Camaro does not take no for an answer and presses the accelerator pedal. In just a few seconds, he loses control, crosses all the traffic lanes and spins, damaging his car. Fortunately, no other car came into contact with the Camaro, and it looks like no one was injured. Check out the original post on Twitter below:

Fortunately, all Tesla vehicles come standard with integrated on-board cameras and a multi-camera Sentry Mode security system. We believe that such features should at least be available in most, if not all, cars. This particular video appears to have been filmed with a smartphone, but thanks to Tesla’s built-in camera systems, owners can safely record footage of incidents like this to help authorities and insurance companies.
