Cameron Diaz only has eyes for one man.
The 49-year-old star is currently married to Good Charlotte musician Benji Madden, whom she married in 2015 after meeting him through her friend Nicole Richie, and her own beau, the identical twin brother. by Benji, Joel.
“I met [my husband] through my sister-in-law and my brother-in-law, ”Diaz said in an interview on the“ Anna Faris is Unqualified ”podcast by People magazine. “I first met them, then they didn’t put us in but we were in the same room because of them, then we got together.”
Diaz added that once she met Benji, she wondered why she “hadn’t seen him before”.

“Which is funny because you saw his twin brother,” noted his business partner Katherine Power.

Diaz replied, “They’re not the same, they’re so different. Even though they’re twins, they’re obviously very, very different.”
The star of “Annie” then plunged back into the story of her first meeting with her man.

“I saw him walk towards me and I was like, ‘Huh, he’s hot, I’ve never seen him before,'” she recalls. “But when I saw him, like who he was, that’s what really made me say, ‘Oh you, you’re special, you’re the guy, you’re the hidden gem of my life.'”
The actress and musician married soon after and welcomed a daughter, Raddix Madden, in December 2019.

During a 2020 appearance on the YouTube series “Makeup & Friends,” Diaz gushed about her husband.

“I love being married,” she said at the time. “The best thing that ever happened to me was to find my husband and our partnership and his friendship and all that.”

Since meeting Madden in 2014, Diaz has given up comedy, even hinting that she wasn’t sure if she would ever play another role.
