Chris Martin, owner of Hempful Farms in Phoenix, specializes in CBD products.
"I'll tell you right now that you're going to run this risk with any full-spectrum product containing all the cannabinoids," said Martin.
He added that his clients included police officers, transport workers and airline pilots and that he had all warned them of the risks associated with taking a "full spectrum oil" when they were in danger. they came to buy products.
In eight years of managing his business, Martin said that he had only heard of two clients who had told him that they had failed a drug test at work.
"I warned them that they were running this risk, but they chose to take it anyway," Martin said.
A full-spectrum CBD oil includes all the active ingredients of raw hemp or cannabis plant. Even with oil containing less than the federal limit of 0.3% THC, Martin said users were at risk for a positive test.

KNXV asked Martin if stories like the one you read could hurt his business.
"No, I want these stories to come in. How many people make this product in the back seat of their car and do not test it?" Said Martin.
He advised those who feared losing their job to consider taking an isolate or a distillate of CBD, in which most other substances, with the exception of CBD, are removed.
Unfortunately for Allen, despite the relief afforded her CBD oil, she no longer uses the product because she fears losing her job again.
