BAY OF HUDSON, Sask. – Two crewmembers were injured when a Via Rail train derailed overnight in Saskatchewan
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada reports that two locomotives and one baggage car left the tracks near the Hudson Bay. 19659002] TSB spokesman Alexandre Fournier said that the train was traveling about 50 kilometers to the hour when it reached a lane area that had been swept away by the train.
Fournier says that the injuries of the crew members were minor. 18 pbadengers, but there was no immediate word indicating if any of them had been injured or if the train was heading.
