Devin McCourty returned an interception of 84 yards for a touchdown, and the New England Patriots 'defense stifled the Buffalo Bills' anemic offensive in a 25-6 win Monday night.
James White scored on a one-meter run and the Patriots relied more on Stephen Gostkowski's leg than on Tom Brady's arm for their fifth consecutive victory, which improved their record of the AFC. East at 6-2. Brady finished with 29 of 45 points for a total of 324 yards, but was held without a touchdown pbad for the first time this season.
Gostkowski scored four of five attempts, including two 25-yard attempts after New England was blocked within 10 minutes of Buffalo.
McCourty sealed the win with 5:54 to go by intercepting Derek Anderson's pbad over the center, destined for LeSean McCoy, to win in the end zone.
Two games before the choice, Bills was canceled as a result of a video review. The replays clearly showed that Croom had never had hand possession to try to capture the 25-yard catch, which would have made it a one-point game.

Buffalo lost his third straight and lost 2-6 on his worst start since the start of the 2010 season with eight losses.

The Buffalo problem continued to be an offense that only managed 87 points this season and was held below the seven-point mark for the fourth time. Stephen Hauschka scored the goal by scoring 51 and 47 yards.
Anderson was escorted off the field while he remained 1:25 when he was sacked by Kyle Van Noy. Anderson made his second start instead of rookie Josh Allen, who was ranked week after week with a sprained elbow on the throwing arm.
Anderson finished 22 of 39 goals for 290 yards and two interceptions.
Brady continued his winning streak during his career on the Bills, improving to 29-3, extending the NFL record for the most quarterback wins against an opponent.
The Patriots beat Buffalo for the seventh time in a row and went 32-5 in their last 37 meetings with coach Bill Belichick.
