HALIFAX – A brewery in Nova Scotia is hoping to get a show of support after the owners walked Sunday morning to find broken glbad, missing money and more after a break-in.
The Barr, owner of Roof Hound Brewing Co. in Hillgrove, NS just outside of Digby, said in a Facebook post that it was a "sad morning" because they walked Sunday to "get shattered."
Barr's post, showing pictures of the damage, says that it appears that thieves drove behind the building, damaging the septic tank and possibly getting stuck with a car. He said that the suspects also broke a rear window, stole their safe, saved with money and a few bottles of beer – "and quite funny stole three full growlers of water from the fridge. "
