Airbus renames the Bombardier C Series l 'A220, sees a strong demand

Airbus unveiled on Tuesday a new identity for the C Series airliner of 110 to 130 seats as it prepares to expand its fight against Boeing to small jet planes.

The European firm announced that it was changing Bombardier aircraft. the A220, which ranks it just under its long-standing A300, which extends from the A319 from 124 seats to the A380 by 544 seats.

The redesign seals the takeover by Europe of one of Canada's most visible industrial projects and puts an end to Bombardier's efforts.
