NEW YORK – The online leader, Amazon Inc., declined to comment Tuesday on plans to divide its new headquarters between two sites, likely in New York and Arlington, Virginia.
The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times have announced that the company will install the new facilities in the Crystal City area in Arlington and another city. Queens on Long Island in New York appears to be a likely choice, but the Wall Street Journal said that Dallas, Texas was also under discussion.
A spokesman for the company, Adam Sedo, contacted by telephone in Seattle, said that Amazon would not comment on "rumors and speculations".
