King says both planes went to their doors under their own power.

He said that a 38-year-old woman on the American Eagle flight had been injured in the neck and back.

Air Canada spokeswoman Angela Mah said the A320 plane was arriving from Toronto with 142 pbadengers and that everyone on board landed normally, but that the plane is now off service.

Tim Clark, an Air Canada pbadenger waiting at the door for his flight back to Toronto, said some pbadengers who left the plane immediately went to the windows to take pictures of the damage.

"The damage is minimal, but they are on the tip of the wing, on one of those split pieces," Clark said as he waited in the terminal for news of the return to the House.

"It's probably very important to fly."

King stated that the Federal Aviation Administration had been informed of the incident but that she had no word on the cause or who was at fault.

He added that the incident had not caused any disruption of operations at the airport.
