Assault of a Tim Hortons pregnant employee taken on camera

Two Tim Hortons employees in the Toronto area were attacked by a woman who walked through the restaurant counter, police said.

The woman had entered the McVean Drive restaurant early Sunday morning in the hope of using her restroom, even though the restaurant had closed for the night.

Police say that Leliqua Clarke, 21, was charged with two counts of badault and a break and enter

The employee who was badaulted is a 25 year old pregnant woman. She and her 20-year-old colleague were both treated for minor injuries

. A spokesman for Tim Hortons describes the attack as "completely unacceptable by standards."

"No one comes to work waiting to be treated this way," said the spokesman. word in an email

Two bars have been installed across the showcase of the driving service since Sunday in an attempt by the restaurant owner to prevent other guests from scaling it.
