On June 21st, the largest hotel franchisor in Canada, Choice Hotels, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The company has been successful since its inception in 1993 as a 50/50 joint venture between Choice Hotels International and Journey & # 39; s End. Since its inception, the company has grown from 174 hotels to 340 franchised hotels under 10 brands, including Comfort Quality and Echo Lodge. Key milestones include the creation of the Choice Hotels Canada Foundation, which launched its first Book to Build campaign in 2017 and raised more than $ 100,000 for Habitat for Humanity.
