ARCOLA – Carriage Crossing Senior Living, located in the development of Green Mill Village in Arcola, organizes a free dinner on Thursday from 18h to 19h30. at Best Western Plus Hotel, 917 Green Mill Road.

According to a press release, this free lunch is part of the Conversational Breakfast series, where senior experts from the Senior Living sector discuss useful and thoughtful topics of interest to seniors, their families and caregivers.

Elizbeth Hagemann, Education and Outreach Manager for the Illinois chapter of the Alzehimer Association, will be the guest speaker at this free lunch. Hagemann is a highly trained senior living sector professional serving the 14 counties of east central Illinois.

Her topic for this November dinner will be "Forget Me Not: Conversations about the stages of dementia and Alzheimer's disease".

She obtained a BA in Psychology from Eureka College and a Masters in Human Services, specializing in Gerontology from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Hagemann likes to mix the knowledge gained during her studies with the experiences she has gained by taking care of her grandmother, Alzheimer's disease.

His hope is to spread Alzheimer's disease and link families to useful resources.
