CHICAGO and WALTHAM, Mbad., October 30, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – The Foundation for Women's Cancer (FWC), the official foundation of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and TESARO, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSRO) , a biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology, today announced the third year of its partnership with the annual organization of the National Women 's Cancer Race. The weekend-long event is the FWC's flagship event in raising awareness and fundraising. It celebrates survivors, celebrates loved ones, educates and supports women with gynecological cancer. TESARO is the main sponsor of the 9th edition of this annual event, which will include a 5 km run and a one kilometer walk on Sunday, November 4th at the Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C.

Pre-race programming will begin at 14:30 at 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and the 5km race will begin at 9:30 am.
