In the video, the 45-year-old actress, who is a devout Christian, articulates the lyrics: ‘Baby I’m a gangster too and it takes two to dance / You don’t wanna dance with me, dance with me’, while a caption throughout the video read: ‘When they do not know the power of the Holy Spirit.’
However, some found the video offensive, prompting the Fuller House star to remove the video from her Instagram feed, saying she did not intend to consider the clip as “bizarre” or “flirty.”

“I just got home and read a lot of posts that weren’t happy with my last Instagram post which was a TikTok video,” Candace said in her apology.
“And I don’t usually apologize for these things, but a lot of you thought it was weird and I’m sorry. It was not my intention, “she added.
“I was using a very specific clip from TikTok and applying it to the power of the Holy Spirit, which is amazing. Many of you thought that I was trying to be attractive, which clearly means that I am not a very good actress because I was trying to be strong, not sexy. So, I guess it didn’t work, but I deleted it.

Some fans commented that the post sounded “sexy,” which they felt was inappropriate given that she was holding a copy of the Bible.
Candace had tried to pin him down on her daughter Natasha who posted a similar video, saying she was trying to follow her lead.
“Maybe I was just trying to be too cool or relevant in a biblical way that didn’t work,” she explained in her Instagram video.
Addressing the hubbub: “I just got home and read a lot of posts that weren’t happy with my last Instagram post which was a TikTok video,” Candace said in her apology.
“Most of you clearly didn’t like it anyway, but there was a small percentage of you who liked what I did and understood my intention.
“But anyway, it’s gone. Now I know what you don’t like, ”she added.
The actress is open to her faith and said in an interview last year that she is the “foundation of who I am”.
