Well, pre-fight brawls are certainly not exclusive to MMA.
Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant had a serious exchange during a pre-fight press conference at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, Calif., On Tuesday afternoon.
The two warmed up on their face-off just before the presser. Plant appeared to step into Canelo’s shoes with a few words, which caused Canelo to push Plant across the stage. The push caused Plant to take a quick hit at Canelo and it triggered a quick back and forth.

Plant sustained a large cut under his right eye as a result of the trade. He was bleeding noticeably. It is not known if the cut will have an impact on the fight.
The two were separated and the press conference continued.
Starting today, Canelo and Plant are set to meet on November 6 on Showtime pay-per-view at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada Canelo, which holds the WBA, WBC, WBO Super Middleweight titles, tries to become the undisputed champion by winning the IBF belt from Plant.
