Capitol Police said in a statement they looked forward to “welcoming snowmobilers in the future,” but could not afford it at this time.
“Unfortunately, due to the current security position, COVID-19 restrictions and the deconstruction of the inaugural platform, we cannot allow sledding on the Capitol complex at this time,” says the press release.
