Authorities seek to arrest Pennsylvania woman accused of taking a laptop computer from the office of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi during the siege of the U.S. Capitol on January 6 with the alleged intention of selling the device to Russian intelligence forces officials said in recent court documents.

The FBI is looking for Riley June Williams, a woman from Harrisburg who investigators linked to the events on Capitol Hill earlier this month. According to an arrest warrant filed Sunday night, an informant called the FBI hotline and told authorities they spotted her in videos from headquarters.

The tipster, who has not been identified, said Williams’s friends showed the person a video of Williams “taking a laptop or hard drive from President Pelosi’s office,” according to court documents.

The tipster “said WILLIAMS intended to send the computing device to a friend in Russia, who was then considering selling the device to SVR, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service. [the tipster], the transfer of the computing device to Russia failed for unknown reasons and WILLIAMS still has the computing device or destroyed it, ”the warrant said.

The investigation into the stolen technology is still ongoing.

A Pelosi spokesperson did not respond to Fox News’ request for comment on Monday. Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff Drew Hammill confirmed in a Jan. 8 tweet that a laptop was stolen.

The tipster identified Williams as being seen in footage from UK news site ITV News, wearing a brown trench coat over a green top.

She is wanted for knowingly entering a building with restricted access and violent and disorderly conduct.
