Police are questioning more than a dozen people on the theft of 100 high-end vehicles in Chicago after a carpool company reported that part of its fleet had been stolen from the police. using its mobile application, the obligatory to temporarily close the service in the city.

Kendell Kelton, a spokesperson for SHARE NOW, told BuzzFeed News that personal information from customers had not been compromised and that the incident had been isolated in Chicago.
"This is a case of isolated fraud in Chicago, and we are currently working with law enforcement," Kelton said in an e-mail.
As a precaution, the company announced the temporary suspension of its service in Chicago.
Wednesday afternoon, 100 vehicles, including at least 50 Mercedes-Benz cars still in the Chicago area, are still missing, police said. More than a dozen people of interest were interviewed.
According to its website, car2go manages a fleet of around 14,000 Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles in more than 20 cities in North America, Europe and Asia. He recently joined the BMW DriveNow car-sharing service to become SHARE NOW.
