The Grammy winner took to Twitter on Tuesday with conservative expert Candace Owens.
Now, if you know what “WAP” means, you won’t be shocked by the stripper pole, the provocative costumes, and the two rappers stepping closer to a giant bed during the performance.
Owens saw it as “an attack on American values, American traditions” and accused the performers of “actively trying to get children to yearn for grotesque things” with their prime-time act.
“We are celebrating the evil in America,” Owens said.
“I’m actually just going to thank Candy (Owens). She put my performance on Fox News by giving her more views which increased views on YouTube and counts towards my feeds and sales,” the rapper tweeted. “Flashing face with tongue STREAM UP AND WAP. REMINDING GRAND PARENTS ONLY YOU CAN WATCH WHAT YOUR KIDS ARE LOOKING AT DIFFERENTLY NO1.”
But things quickly changed as Owens and Cardi B exchanged tweets that covered everything from racial and sexual politics to each other’s spouses.
Most of what has been said is not suitable for family consumption, but let’s just say there were nudes involved and the two women threatened each other with legal action against each other.
Who said rap beef should stay between rappers?
