For shoes, Cardi B killed two birds with one stone and simplified her dress routine. The “Hustlers” actress slipped her top into high waisted pleated pants, accompanied by attached shoes. Although they could not be fully seen due to their fabric coverings, her shoes appeared to feature a pointed toe silhouette and high heels. The unique tone of her look created a monochrome effect, allowing her ensemble to appear streamlined and effortless.

Monochrome dressing is one of the biggest trends this year, due to its ease and crispness. Pairing pieces in the same print, texture or color creates a clean effect that looks extremely easy. Cardi B is the latest star to try the trend, with others like Gabrielle Union, Dakota Johnson and Olivia Rodrigo sporting one-color ensembles from brands like Carolina Herrera, Rodarte and Saint Laurent in recent weeks.

Cardi B never shies away from a bold style statement, especially during Paris Fashion Week. Rapper “Bodak Yellow” has stepped out in a range of statement outfits over the past few days during the spring 2022 season. In addition to his all-green look, the style star has been spotted in two archive dresses. Thierry Mugler, a Richard Quinn coat covered with spikes, a black Balenciaga Couture hat and a coat printed on a magazine cover, and more. His shoes have been equally dynamic, ranging from Rick Owens’ platform boots to classic stiletto heels.

When it comes to shoes, Cardi B’s spin is as bold as her wardrobe. The rapper’s favorite styles are her “bloody shoes,” AKA Christian Louboutin, most often the designer’s So Kate point-toe pumps. However, she’s also released in a range of styles over the years, including Jimmy Choo sandals, Jessica Rich mules, Bottega Veneta combat boots and more. Cardi B has also dipped her toes into the fashion world, collaborating on several successful collections during the year with Reebok and Fashion Nova.
