Cardi B reacts to retaliation for his drugs and the theft of his men | WBNS-10TV Columbus, Ohio

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Cardi B tries to clarify after redesigning an online video where the rapper claimed to have drugged and stole men for money.

The Grammy winner posted a statement on Instagram saying she had "very limited options" and had to do everything to "survive". The former stripper said that she was not trying to glorify her actions, but that she felt that it was necessary at the time.

Cardi B faces a negative reaction from the Instagram Live video which she says she dated from three years ago. Some social media have criticized the rapper for her admission with the #SurvivingCardiB hashtag in reference to R. Kelly's documentary "Surviving R. Kelly".

Cardi says that the men she talked about in the video are the ones she came out with and that they were "conscious, willing, and aware."
