After receiving a Compensatory Draft pick for being broken toe at the airport or for nonsense, the St. Louis Cardinals will arrive at Wrigley Field to open a three-game set against the Chicago Cubs. This will be the first time in a few years that they have clashed as the best dogs in the NL Central – at least in the overall standings – and this will be for the first time even longer than it is the Cardinals who arrive in head. so far in the season. It's been a long time since the Cubs beat the Cardinals in their only playoff series in 2015, they closed the door to the competitive Cardinals for a long time.
Maybe the cardinals are "back"?
As Michael has pointed out, they play very well on the offensive side now, but their pitcher has been surprisingly suspicious at times. Their record of wins / losses is actually a few games behind the Cubs, as they currently lead the division with 2.5 games. In the end, a series between these teams – teams that will play 19 times this year – will decide nothing, whatever the meaning of the procedure, but it will be good to see what the Cardinals actually have.
To this end, the series should be really fun from the point of view of rivalry. It's like being in the past, but this season has been punctuated by the most hostile hostility in the history of sport, with the cardinals. so mad that Kris Bryant joked that their boring city was boring. Will it make things happen this weekend? It's hard to see how necessary it is at this stage, as they are two of the best teams in the NL, longtime rivals, and with a fan base that will be ruthlessly booed in Wrigley. Field. (And, if we have the chance to do so, let's sing "BO-RING" every time Yadi Molina comes in.)

Do you remember when Yadi Molina, annoyed, said that the beef with Kris Bryant would extend into the season? Well, they are coming to Wrigley today. https://t.co/tKlLoVrHzB

Baseball is supposed to be entertaining, and it's, in my opinion, the most entertaining when rivals make rivalry. The Cubs-Cardinals have produced games and exceptional moments in my life. Even if each team is competitive in the standings, it's true, it's especially true when each team has a lot to play.
Let's go.
