Boston Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo was released from hospital on Saturday after spending the night following a header from Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson, who was suspended for seven games.
Wilson has been suspended and will miss games for the next two weeks after a Zoom hearing to discuss the incident.

Wilson is one of the most penalized and suspended players in the league, but he is not considered a repeat offender under the collective agreement as his last suspension was over 18 months ago. This is his fifth suspension and Wilson has already been fined twice during his NHL career.
