Carlos Ghosn: Americans sentenced to jail for helping former Nissan Motor Company chairman flee Japan

Michael Taylor and his son Peter pleaded guilty and apologized to court last month, saying they regretted their role in smuggling Ghosn out of Japan hidden in a box on a private jet from the airport Japanese from Kansai.

Ghosn remains a fugitive in his childhood home in Lebanon, which has no extradition treaty with Japan.
