It looks like Carmella and Billie Kay will be booked for WrestleMania 37.
As we noted, there has been speculation that Carmella and Billie will be added to the Four Team Tag Team Turmoil # 1 Contender game in WrestleMania 37’s Night One, due to a behind-the-scenes segment on SmackDown. last Friday on the FOX show. WWE has announced four teams for tonight’s RAW match and revealed that the winners will travel to Night Two to challenge WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. The teams announced on RAW were Lana and Naomi, Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott, Natalya and Tamina Snuka, as well as Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose.
In an update, WWE jumped the gun earlier this evening tweeting a graphic that featured Carmella and Billie with the other 4 teams. This tweet was quickly deleted, but you can see a copy of the graphic below. The WWE website also listed Carmella and Billie as the fifth team, and the Spanish RAW announcers mentioned Carmella and Billie’s team in the game.
It’s not yet clear when the fifth team will be officially announced for Tag Team Turmoil, but it is likely to happen during the WrestleMania Special Edition of SmackDown on FOX, WrestleMania 37’s final homecoming show.
Bayley has yet to announce a WrestleMania 37 match. Fans are now speculating that Bayley could end up taking Billie’s place from some angle, making the fifth team Carmella and Bayley. This speculation is fueled by recent comments from Carmella about wanting to team up with Bayley or Billie.
WrestleMania 37 takes place this Saturday April 10 and Sunday April 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Below is the updated map for the Big Event, along with a copy of the deleted Tag Team Turmoil match:
