Underwood is in the running for two of the night’s biggest awards tonight: Singer of the Year and Artist of the Year.
Since 2006, she has won nine CMA awards. Most recently, she won two CMT Music Awards.
Other nominees for Artist of the Year include Miranda Lambert, who recently told Entertainment Tonight that it was “pretty amazing and it’s also very humiliating” to be against her colleague for the award. .
