Carrie Underwood looks on the bright side.
The 37-year-old country singer recently spoke with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe for her series “At Home With” and explained how the national coronavirus quarantine has changed her life.
The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has forced the music industry to shut down, giving Underwood the opportunity to stop and take stock of what’s important in his life.
“I mean, when you look at this year, how it started, [I said], ‘This is what I’m gonna do, I’m gonna do a Christmas album, I’m gonna do these [things,] X, Y, and Z, and then everything changes, ”the“ American Idol ”former said, according to Us Weekly.

“At first I feel like I did a really good job saying, ‘OK, how do we get around our situation and what we’re doing?’ And I feel like it gave me a greater sense of peace knowing that I wasn’t in control and like I said, I just kept moving forward.
Additionally, the “Blown Away” singer said she was grateful for the opportunity to slow down after years of hard work on her nonstop career.

“I’m very lucky. I have two amazing boys and my husband, and we live on a farm, and maybe I need to go back to some of my roots by not being on stage for a minute,” he said. she said. “I have to be outside. so much and I got to work in the garden and be just a mum and be a wife and be at home. This is the most I’ve known for over 15 years old.
However, having such a family is not without its challenges. In 2019, she embarked on a tour soon after giving birth.

“Getting married and having a family, you see women in the music industry talking about how they chose not to have a family because they were so focused on their careers. I kind of took the opposite route and I’m like I can have it all, ”Underwood recalls. “I had my son Jake and three months [later], we had our first gig on the “Cry Pretty” tour. I thought, “I can do this” and we did it. “

However, Underwood turned out to be a proud working mom.
“It was worth it,” she said. “I also love that my kids hopefully remember some of those times and go, ‘Wow, my mom was [a] mom but she was also [more]”. Which is such a cool and cool thought to have.
