Next week’s anniversary episode (October 6) from AEW Dynamite will feature a Casino Ladder match. The winner of these “Casino” themed matches always wins a future title match. In this case, the winner will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship on a date to be determined.
A list of wrestlers participating in the ladder match was revealed in tonight’s episode of Carnage. The first four wrestlers named are Jon Moxley, PAC, Lance Archer and Andrade El Idolo. Later in the show, Orange Cassidy and Matt Hardy were added to the mix. In addition to these six men, there is also a “wild card” in the match, whose identity will remain a mystery until the match takes place.
Many fans were anticipating Hangman Page’s return and his continued pursuit of the Omega Championship, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be in the ladder match unless he’s the wild card. Rather, would it be time for Jon Moxley to get another shot at Omega Gold?
