Castle Crashers Remastered, the brawler of the Behemoths, will be released on Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2019, followed by the PS4 version at a later date.

Castle Crashers was released in 2008 on Xbox 360, then on PlayStation 3 and PC a few years later.

The remastered version will cost US $ 14.99 and will offer textures five times larger, 60 fps gameplay, all previously published downloadable content, and "various gameplay and online multiplayer gameplay and performance upgrades."

The Switch version includes HD Rumble and local Joy-Con support that can accommodate up to 4 players, allowing players to use their Joy-Cons "in any configuration" to play with friends online.

The PlayStation 4 version of the game is still in the final validation stage, Behemoth explained. This is why she has not yet confirmed the exact date of its launch.

"We are thrilled to finally offer a new way to play Castle Crashers, and we are committed to creating even more exciting and explosive video game experiences in the future," said the game's developer.
