Tampa International Airport suspends all operations Wednesday at 3 p.m. Operations are expected to resume Thursday at noon.

A tornado watch was also issued for Tampa, Fort Myers and Naples.

The strongest rain and wind by Thursday morning will have left Tampa and hit the east side of Florida from Jacksonville to Daytona Beach.
