Catelynn Baltierra provides update on Carly and Nova’s relationship

It’s been 11 years since “Teen Mom OG” stars Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra placed their daughter Carly for adoption at “16 and pregnant,” but they are still very much in touch with her and the girl’s parents.

Brandon and Teresa Davis last appeared on the show in 2019, appearing for an interview without Carly for the show’s reunion. Their appearance followed an off-camera reunion between Catelynn, Tyler, their children Vaeda and Nova, their own parents, Brandon, Teresa and Carly – their first meeting after a two-year gap.

It looks like this might be the last time they saw each other in person, as Catelynn told TooFab, it had been two years since their last meeting, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t. communicated.

“We’re talking, Carly’s mom and I text a lot,” she explained. “We don’t have them … we saw them two summers ago, because obviously with the pandemic and all that, they also stayed at home.”

“So hopefully once the COVID calms down or goes away, or people start getting vaccinated, we can have a visit again,” she added, “but we stay in. contact”.

“Nova and Carly FaceTimed not that long ago,” Catelynn continued. “So we try to keep as much communication as possible, and as long as the girls can communicate, that’s the most important thing to me.”

At that 2019 reunion, the two couples were candid about the open adoption process.

“I don’t know what you can say other than how amazing it is and then I’m standing there with this sweet young girl, birth mother, handing this child to me,” Teresa said. “It’s definitely an experience like no other. The recognition and gratitude for that, wrapped up in one.

“It’s very reassuring,” Tyler added. “Thank you for letting us get involved and see her and be great parents to her, we couldn’t really have asked for anything more, honestly.”

Brandon returned his gratitude by telling both of them, “The first thing that comes to mind, as always, gratitude, gratitude for all of you. We wouldn’t be here without it.”
