Cause of death of T.'s sister revealed

The death of rapper Atlanta T.I's sister in February was judged an accident by the Fulton County Medical Examiner.

Precious Harris, legally known as Antoinette Chapman, lost consciousness while driving her brother's Dodge Avenger on February 12th. She was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she died nine days later.

The medical examiner pointed out that Chapman, 66, who had a history of hypertension, diabetes and kidney disease, was positive for cocaine.

"Antoinette Chapman died from cocaine-related toxicity, which worsened hypertensive cardiovascular disease (hypertension). Cocaine causes spasms of the coronary arteries as well as an increase in blood pressure and pulse, which results in the development of abnormal heart rhythms, "reported the report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution as a result of A request for Open Records.

The official cause of death is listed as "cocaine use aggravating hypertension" and the manner in which the death was caused by an accident. The medical examiner signed the report on June 5th.

Chapman sometimes appeared on "T.I. and Tiny's Family Hustle, "the VH1 reality TV show starring T.I., his wife Tameka" Tiny "Cottle-Harris and their family.

T.I. (born Clifford Harris Jr.) is actively involved in many charitable activities in Atlanta through his Harris Community Works.
