Fans unloaded on CBS and cable companies as there seemed to be an outage early in the game. Fury spread across social media as they expressed their frustrations.

The CBS Sports app and CBS All-Access seemed to provide a temporary fix for fans. It appears people trying to watch the game in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area were the most affected, according to Down Detector.
Verizon Support said there was a “known streaming issue with CBS, the network provider, and other TV service providers.”

CBS did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News.
After the Chiefs scored the first touchdown of the game, it appeared that serve started to return for most carriers. Altice, Verizon FIOS, Xfinity and DirecTV were among the cable operators concerned.
The Chiefs are in the process of returning to the Super Bowl. It’s their first game in two weeks since getting a first-round pass to have the best record in the AFC. Kansas City is the reigning Super Bowl champion.

The Browns hope to return to the conference title game for the first time since the 1989 season when Bud Carson was head coach and they lost to the Denver Broncos.
