“Ghosts,” a single-camera comedy series about a troubled young couple inheriting a haunted house, received a serial order from CBS.

The series stars Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Asher Grodman, Rebecca Wisocky, Sheila Carrasco, Danielle Pinnock and Roman Zaragoza.

Adapted from a BBC One series of the same name, the star couple – played by McIver and Ambudkar – believe their dreams came true when they were given a beautiful country house, only to find that it is falling apart and inhabited by a certain number of former residents who died.

Joe Port and Joe Wiseman write and produce executives.
