Cyberpunk 2077 and The witcher The developer CD Projekt RED has announced its separation into two teams.
The change of team, detailed in the company's financial report yesterday, plays on CD Projekt RED's desire to become a "double franchise" studio. In other words, expect more Witcher and Cyberpunk games in the future developer of big RPG.
"Manage two major separate franchises (The witcher and Cyberpunk), as well as several independent development teams, allows the company to do parallel work on several projects and to smooth out its long-term dissemination schedule. "
With the decision to split the team in half, CD Projekt RED will now be able to create a timeline with less gap between game outs.
"This migration to a dual franchise model based on several independent product lines also optimizes manufacturing and financial activities, mitigates significant risk factors and makes it easier for employees to the company to flourish in a professional manner. "
