In the wake of the death of “James Bond” and “That 70s Show” actress Tanya Roberts, many celebrities have taken to social media to praise the late star.
The actress’ publicist, Mike Pingel, confirmed the news of her death on social media on Monday.
“I’m very sad to have to post this. Yes, Tanya passed away today. My heart is broken,” read an article on her official Facebook page attributed to her publicist. She was 65.
Roberts had been hospitalized since Dec. 24 after collapsing while walking her dogs, Pingel told The Hollywood Reporter. His death was unrelated to COVID-19, according to reports. She has been seen chatting live with fans as recently as December 19 and is said to be in good health.

The actress appeared in “Charlie’s Angels” in 1980 before starring alongside Roger Moore as a Bond girl in the 1985 film, “A View to a Kill”. However, she was perhaps best known for her role as Midge Pinciotti, Donna Pinciotti’s mother on the hit sitcom “That 70s Show”.
In the wake of her death, a handful of her former co-stars and other celebrities took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Roberts’ passing.
“Sad to hear of the passing of Tanya Roberts – she was full of life, enthusiasm, unfiltered, sense of humor, intelligence and beauty – Prayers for the family – may she tear,” actor Robert Davi wrote.
“Tanya Roberts. An absolute gem, kind and fun. RIP, lovely lady,” wrote actress Chase Masterson.
Rosanna Arquette tweeted a single: “Tanya Roberts rest in peace.”

“Very sad to hear this,” wrote actor Robert Patrick.
Meanwhile, two of Roberts’ “That 70s Show” co-stars were among the first to praise him on social media.

“I was so sad to learn that Tanya Roberts has passed away. She was a Bond girl, one of the Charlie’s Angels, and really a lovely person to work with. I had never played before and, to be honest, a little nervous with her. But she couldn’t have been nicer. We will miss you Midge, ” wrote Topher Grace.
Danny Masterson, who is currently engaged in a civil and criminal case, also took to Twitter to say goodbye to his co-star.

“We lost a great one. Rip #tanyaroberts you were a great person to work with and we all loved you very much. Good luck,” he wrote on Instagram with a photo montage of Roberts from the show.
