CLEVELAND, Ohio – Even before the Boston Celtics are eliminated from the playoffs, Kyrie Irving was criticized.

The former Cleveland Cavalier wanted to be the guy for a franchise. Still, he could not lead the Celtics to the bottom of the playoffs.

Now, one of his teammates defends him. When asked if Irving's leadership was attributed to the Celtics' woes, Marcus Smart called "Bulls ***".

"They are four other guys over there. That's 12, 13 other guys on the team, the coaches and everything in between, "Smart said in a media interview. "So, blame someone, that's bulls ***."

Despite all the drama surrounding the Celtics this season, Smart congratulated Irving for not trying to disrupt the chemistry that the team had built. It seems like at least one guy would like to have Irving in Boston next season.
