Central US prepares for an epidemic of bad weather

At least 20 tornadoes have been reported in the last 24 hours between Texas and Nebraska, while more severe weather is targeting the central United States.

The plains and the Midwest are gearing up for a storm this week, likely to include high winds, hail and tornadoes. Flash floods also remain a significant threat.

In the middle of the week, another system is moving from the Rockies to the Plains. Greater tornado risks could be observed as early as Tuesday.
