Three people were shot and a woman was hit by a car outside the Minnesota State Fair Monday night, according to reports.
WCCO reported that both incidents occurred in front of the fair's main entrance around 10 pm Witnesses told the news channel that a fight broke out a few moments before the 19-year-old woman was beaten. She says she is in critical condition.
The driver who allegedly hit the woman reportedly stopped but took off after passersby kicked her vehicle. Police said he had driven a short distance, stopped and called 911.

The authorities reportedly heard gunshots in the area at about the same time as the pedestrian accident. According to the television channel, police found a wounded man a block away from the wreckage and two other men shot and wounded arrived at the hospital shortly thereafter.
According to WCCO, two of the victims were 20 years old – one who had been touched in the groin and the other in the hand – and the third was an 18-year-old girl who had been injured on one shoulder. All three should be in order.
The police did not identify any shooter. No arrests were made.
