Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady made his name in 2019 when Joe Burrow won the Heisman Trophy and LSU won the national championship.

Brady, the Tigers wide receiver coach and passing game coordinator, turned that into a job with the Panthers after hiring Matt Rhule as head coach.

After a season in his current role, Brady is a highly regarded commodity.

The Falcons, Texans and Chargers all have authorization requested to interview Brady, 31, on their vacant head coach job, reports NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

The Chargers also have Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and Rams defensive coordinator Brandon Staley on their roster.

The Texans have already spoken to former NFL head coaches Jim Caldwell and Marvin Lewis and requested an interview with Eberflus.

The Falcons spoke with Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and interim coach Raheem Morris. They requested an interview with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh.
