The first morning of Charles Leclerc in the SF90 went as planned. The Monegasque driver not only surpassed the timesheet, but was one of the busiest on Tuesday.
Leclerc replaced his team-mate Sebastian Vettel on Tuesday for the second day of the first pre-season test in Barcelona, posting a best time of 1: 18.247.
The day began coldly as the morning mist gave way to a blue sky.
Weather conditions made the runway extremely slippery at the beginning of the game, discovered by Alexander Albon by spinning his STR14 into the gravel on lap 4.

He was caught a second time before lunch but managed to avoid gravel.
Daniel Ricciardo was next in the gravel while he spun at Turn 1 without fail on his part.
The Australian, who spends time in his new Renault RS19, has lost the upper element of his rear wing in the main straight.
Fortunately, he did not hit the barriers because he could have been involved in a terrible accident.

Leclerc was fastest with a time of 1: 18.247 and finished Tuesday morning in front of Kevin Magnussen's Haas.
The Dane, who was stuck in his garage for a while while Haas was working on an undisclosed problem, finished with a little less than a second behind.
Antonio Giovinazzi, rookie of Alfa Romeo, took third place, while the three riders at the top used compound C3 to establish their best time.
Giovinazzi finished ahead of Lando Norris in the McLaren and Pierre Gasly, who made his first rounds in the RB15.
Ricciardo was sixth when he had only 27 laps before the fall of the rear wing, while Lewis Hamilton was next with a best time of 1: 19.928.
Once again, Mercedes chose to stick to the slower Pirellis instead of glorifying reduced fuel rates.
Albon and Lance Stroll of Racing Point completed the timesheet.
