Charli XCX broke her silence on Sophie Xeon’s death in a statement shared on Twitter Monday night.

“There are so many memories, so many little details, so many different points of view and incredible feelings and stories. It is impossible to sum up the trip I took with Sophie.
Hitmaker Fancy also reflected on their close relationship, adding: ‘Even the smallest things seemed huge. I can’t explain how I feel and can’t sum up how unique she was in a small social media post.
“I will personally honor Sophie in my time, in my grief, through my memories, through my work, by writing things that I will not read.
“But for now, all I can do is miss her terribly; her smile, her laughter, her studio dancing, her sweet curious voice, her sharp personality, her ability to order a piece without even trying, her incredible vision and wit.
